TEHRAN, 02 August. - (ANA) - The US and Israel are planning a bombing campaign against energy infrastructure targets in Iran, with strikes possible throughout the weekend, CBS News reported on Friday, citing sources.

 

There was discussion about concluding the strikes before financial markets open on Monday

Tehran's response plan includes critical Israeli infrastructure and US energy infrastructure in the region, Iran's Tasnim news agency said, quoting a senior security official.

 

In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli fighter jets struck a medicine warehouse near a hospital in Deir al-Balah early on Saturday, destroying the facility and causing extensive damage to nearby tents sheltering displaced Palestinians.

 

Kuwait's military said Saturday that its forces were responding to Iranian drone attacks, which the army said hit "a number of vital facilities". -(ANA) -
